4.Construction method

When constructed, sticks can be used to penetrate the roll of net cushion and duil out the net cushion. You should nail around the net cushion with bamboo nail or wooden nail and plastic nail. The range between nails should be 30cm. 10 nails /per square meters. The length of nail is normally 15cm (above the surface), nail length should be lengthen if the soil is loose. When constructed in slope roads, the nails in upward slope should be longer than the downward slope. Net cushion should be kept flat with more nails needed if the earth surface is complicated and varied. Joint parts should be at least 2cm. nails in joint parts should be nailed more to keep the net cushion tight without space. The shape of the nail and the upper end width of the nails should be twice as the net diameter to keep the net cushion vertical. Grass seeds are planted depending on the greensward condition. Grass seed selection should accord with the local climate. Long roots and small bushes growing many years should be the best choice. The depth of grass seed planting should be in net cushion to take the effects of better protection. After the grass seeds are planted. The surface soil covering will cover the net cushion to avoid the net cushion from sunlight so as to extend the usage time, but will be helpful for the grass buds to come and grow up. After the grass seeds are planted, water percentage in soil layer should be 40%-50%.  When the net cushion is paved in the upper end of slope, the joint part in the direction of lengthway should be angled 60 0C underneath the surface 30cm.The bottom end of the slope should have 50cm flat surface. A storage water channel should be dug out 20cm away from the net cushion for convenience to irrigate because the upper part of the slope contains more water than the bottom part.

 Pave work is the key point among the entire projects (when it is used on the slope).The pave work should be done 3-4 months before the rain season so that the grass can have enough time to grow.
